Overview

Name of Employer: RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas, LLC

Position Location: 2275 Eagle Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76177

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

 

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

  • Develop and execute Value Stream Maps (current and future) according to the Lean Operations Roadmap.
  • Assist and support current 5S program.
  • Lead, participate, and support Kaizen Events and A3's projects.
  • Interface with quality, manufacturing engineer, planning, and production to integrate new products or processes into the existing production area.
  • Develop shop floor photo documentation and standard work instructions.
  • Collaborate with international sites to ensure global processes are being followed and updated with improvements as needed.
  • Support failure analysis and develop together with production, quality/engineering departments effective counter measures.
  • Support the implementation of Root Cause Corrective Action.
  • Will supervise 6 employees.

Qualifications

Education requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

Experience requirements: 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skills or Other Requirements:

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  1. Manufacturing planning and industrial engineering processes, concepts, and procedures
  2. ISO9001 and AS9100
  3. SAP for developing routing structures and industrializing engineering data
  4. Teamcenter PLM for analyzing engineering structures and the industrialization process
  5. Creating custom scripts using VBA to automate data processing tasks
  6. Risk analysis and continuous improvement methodology
  7. Creating and implementing process controls for production fixtures.
