Product Cost Manager
Overview
The Product Cost Manager will be a part of the RECARO Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of quotation, order, and change calculations
- Support for global sales team in the preparation of quotations regarding product configuration and quotation strategy
- Conducting price and value analyses and evaluating open book calculations
- Evaluation of alternative manufacturing processes and methods
- Defining Cost Down potential and coordinating the necessary deviation management
- Reviewing development concepts for cost plausibility
- Collaborating within interdisciplinary project teams: ensuring cost transparency and developing decision templates
Qualifications
- Degree in industrial engineering or comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in technical sales or product costing, ideally in the aviation industry
- Good knowledge of product and project management
- Very confident use of MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Experience with the Siemens TC-PLM platform and SAP desirable
- Very good German and English skills
- Analytical thinking, organizational skills, strong communication skills, and proactivity
